How do I set up a consultation?

Send the short request form. We’ll contact you to set a time. The consultation is one hour with Brandon Sample. It does not hire us for the whole case.

What should I have ready?

Gather what you can: the case number and court, the charging papers, the judgment (the court paper that lists the sentence), the presentence report (PSR) if the client has it, and any Bureau of Prisons (BOP) paperwork or medical records. Don’t worry if you don’t have everything. We’ll tell you what we can do, what we can’t, and what it would cost to go further.

Does contacting you make you my lawyer?

No. Contact does not create an attorney-client relationship. Unsolicited information may not be confidential. A consultation does not hire us for the case; that happens later, only if we both agree. Until then, share only the basic facts.
