Okay, how y'all doing? My name is Celester Raymond DeGroat II. I was arrested in 1996 for a crack cocaine charge, convicted in 1997, and sentenced to 576 months. Throughout the course of my time in prison, as all the laws changed, I had did a lot of motions pro se, in which my sentencing judge had almost denied every one of them. And this situation came around, and I was blessed with the opportunity to have Mr. Brandon Sample as my lawyer.
When I first met Mr. Sample, Mr. Sample was so personable that he made me feel like I was a part of his law firm. He kept me pushing forward, always told me to look at the end of the tunnel, be patient, stay strong. Mr. Sample is a man with integrity. Any person that's going through a situation like mine, I advise you to turn to Mr. Sample for his services. Mr. Sample is not only the best lawyer, but his law firm is just as great as he is. So them as a team is the best team you can ever have on your team. I just thank Mr. Sample so much.
After serving 24 years of my life in prison, from a young man to the man I am now, Mr. Sample not only helped me regain my freedom, but he fought so hard for my freedom. And not only that, he made sure I got my freedom. And I love Mr. Sample like he a family member. And if anybody is in a situation, please hire Mr. Sample for his services. His law firm is the best. He is the best. I know from experience.
As a 48-year sentence, I walked out with not even half of the time that I was supposed to do. I did 24 years off a 48-year sentence. Not only that, the sentence that I had 48 years for, Mr. Sample turned that completely around, and I received an 84-month sentence on that charge in particular.
I just thank God I was blessed with a lawyer like Mr. Sample, and his law firm makes you feel like you're one of their own. I just appreciate them as a whole. I feel like they my family, and what they go through, I go through. So if anybody out there, I just ask y'all to join the family if you need his services. Y'all always made sure I had contact with Mr. Sample. Y'all always treated me like I was out on the streets and paying a million dollars for y'all's services, and I just really appreciate y'all.
I swear, man, I walked out of that prison after all these years. Mr. Sample, man, if it wasn't for him, man, I don't know. I got a judge, he don't play no games. I don't know what I did to him. But Mr. Sample, man, he changed his mind about me. Thank you.
