[Automated prison phone message: “This call is from David Miles, an inmate at a federal prison.”]

My name is David Miles. I'm an inmate at Fort Dix Federal Correctional Institution. I've been incarcerated for 17 years. I've been fighting one battle after the next, after the next, after the next. At times it seems that I didn't have any hope or anything. And I was referred to the firm, lawyers Brandon Sample and Zachary Newland. At first, in all honesty, I was skeptical, because my previous dealings with attorneys wasn't that great. But this was kind of different when I started dealing with the firm.

Every issue that I had — I've never had an attorney that'll answer every single question, no matter how small or how big it is, that took the time to listen to my insight and added my insight. You know, I mean, when we come to disagreements, we was able to talk things out and get a clearer understanding. It wasn't one time throughout this process that I felt that the firm wasn't in my best interest.

I can't describe it. I've had several attorneys throughout my life, and being able to receive the 65-month sentence reduction from the First Step Act — words can't describe, you know, how grateful I am to the firm. And if anyone, anyone needs any type of representation that the firm has to offer, I highly, highly recommend that you talk — that you give them a call and you allow them to review your case. And if you can't get anything, unlike most other attorneys, they will not accept it. If you got something coming and they figure they can get you something, they'll accept your case. That's how it was with me.

And it wasn't any rush to get my money or anything. It was, give me your information, let me find out first and foremost, do you potentially have anything coming? And if you do — then I was contacted, and from there we made arrangements. I retained them, and now, instead of me being released in 2029 with my halfway house and maybe home confinement, I can get out of here in 2022, 2023.

Anyone need any representation that the firm has to offer, please give them a call. It's worth it. You have nothing to lose, everything to gain. Thank you.
